How do Polish communities view illegitimate births?
Q. As far as I understood (and, correct me if I'm wrong), abortion is illegal in Poland although it is performed somewhat discreetly so I guess it's not too uncommon to have a high rate of illegitimate births. However, I'm talking from a social point of view. Is it socially acceptable to have illegitimate births within your average-Joe Polish families?
Asked by Roxanne W - Sun Jul 18 07:16:37 2010 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. People are generally changing their views on this matter. In big cities it would be a big deal however in the countryside where catholic church has the strongest influence it istill might be viewed wrong but no one would stone you for that you would have fewer friends and would be pointed with fingers on the street generrally city people mind less and young people dont mind
